How many weddings have you planned?
You will work directly with me, not assistants or interns. I want to ensure that my knowledge of your priorities, budget and vision is the integral component in all decisions and conversations large and small. Everything overlaps when it comes to planning an event.
who will I work with if I engage your services?
I plan 6-8 weddings per year. I believe finding a great planner is someone that not only do you like their work, but you trust them to work and advise you when it comes to your vision and priorities. In order for this to work, a planner must be willing to put in the time to know you, design and source for your perfect details and budget, and be the ambassador for your vendor team.
How many weddings do you plan a year?
No wedding is the same, at least at Anne Book Event Design. My comprehensive planning services include design, production, management, and styling. Following our initial consultation the full package of services will be prepared in a custom proposal for consideration. The Full Anne Book Event Design experience begins at $15,000.
We do not take commissions or referral fees from any vendors.
what is your fee structure?
I love the formality and elegance combined with a relaxed, approachable experience. Knowing the right place to elevate the energy or soften the mood. We take your design and provide the perfect accompaniments for an event that makes space for all moments from the warm welcome to the fond farewell.
with a Laid Back Luxe experience.
At the start of the process the clients and I lay out the events related to the wedding day in a “run of show” draft and incorporate all of the transitions and needs and opportunities offered by each. What will they hear, seen, taste, be offered to drink or eat, what are potential needs and then I style each of these into a meaningful moment, natural timing transition, guest offering, or wow factor to create energy or focus at the perfect times.
Events should enliven the senses with surprise and delight.
I start with getting to
know the couple, their families, and history. I work with them to infuse their personal style,
passions and priorities into their first married couple dinner party be it for 30 or 300. The goal
is to have guests leaving saying “that was so them”.
Oh, and always add a wink and a smile.
I love to ensure that the process will be as memorable as the day itself.
